WARM-UP ( My students loved this game )

 PACKAGE

Aim: The objective of this games is “warm-up” that means you should used it at the
         beginning or end of the class, just to have fun.
Level: All
Time: 15 minutes
Material used : Tape recorder, a box  packaged, strings, adhesive  and a lot of papers, a song.

Procedures: Everybody has to be sat  in circle even the teacher , the song  plays and  the  packaged box is passed hands by hands in circle. When the song stops the person who  is  with  the box has to begin opening it. The music is played again and box is again put in circle. The last person to open it is the winner and the prize is a chocolate inside of the box.
The game has to be played as quick as possible, in order to be funny and dynamic.

Aim: The objective of this games is “warm-up” that means you should used it at the

Material: Blindfold

Procedure  :  This is one of  the oldest game used in classroom, meeting, parties, etc., and is played with two people  in the  middle  of  a  circel  formed  by  the students  holding hands and one of this student  is  blindfolded. The  one with the blindfold  a  boy a  girl  should call the name of the others who has to find-out his or her  partner. Everything  is done  inside  the  circle. Instead   of calling his friend name the person can use a bell and the other person, the blind folder ,should catch him or her
More the one pair should play this game, but remember you should first explain the game first before
playing.

My Friend's best quality

Aim : Practice the adjectives
Level : All
Time : 15 minutes

Material :  A sheet of paper

Procedure :  The teacher gives the students a sheet of paper and ask them to write the quality that best  fit  their friends from the right. They  don't  have  to  write  their  names, neither  their  friends' names, then they fold  their  papers and the teacher c ollects their  them. These papers will set on a chair  in  the  middle of   the classroom. The teacher  asks  them to stand-up, pick  up one of those papers and sit down again, after that the teacher   asks  them  to open their papers,  read it sillently, stand up and give  that  paper  for  the  friend  that  best  fit  what is written  in it. The students after receiving the paper have to read it to the whole class and comment it.
At the end everybody has to make a oral comment about the exercise.

A BOX OF SURPRISES

Aim : Practice vocabulary and  the lesson studied

Level : All

Time : 20
Material : A good song and a box

Procedure :

The teacher selects the sobject, e.g.,  sports, irregular verbs, etc., cut in strip of paper and put them
in the box. The students should be in circle, then  a  song is played and the box begins to run  hands
by hands . The teacher stops the song and the student who is with the box has to open it, pick   up
the paper and do what is written in the paper, e.g.,  what's the past participle of... Then song begins
again and the box runs till the end of the game. The game finish when all the papers have been read.

WHAT ???

Aim : "Wh" questions
Level : All
Material : None

Time : 20 minutes

Procedure  : This is a very easy and good game to practice "WH". The students have to work in pairs or in group and one student asks questions the other one has to answer it using numbers. The
student who uses words in his answers lose the game and starts asking questions.
At end of  the game ask the class to comment about it.

Like doing, don't like doing, don't mind doing, hate doing.

Aim: Practice  the gerund

Level : All

Time : 20 minutes

Material : A sheet of paper

Procedure : Give each student a  loose  piece  of paper and ask them to write down on thing they love doing, one thing they hate doing  and one  thing  they  don't  mind doing. You should also take
part in the game. You should not write your name.You collect  the  papers , mix  them  up and give
them  to  the  students. The  students have  to read it  to  the  whole  class which should identify the person..
